Catherine is a Nutritional Therapy Consultant certified by the Nutritional Therapy Association. Her roots in health and fitness go far beyond that as she also practices as a Registered Nurse and holds dual bachelors degrees from Queen’s University for Life Sciences and Physical Education.
Catherine truly believes in the power of nutrition and exercise in transforming the lives of individuals around her by preventing disease and maximizing wellness. She is the co-founder of Intuition Nutrition. Her knowledge and experience in healing the body using food and natural remedies has led to her clients’ success in battling diseases including diabetes, chronic fatigue, post-transplant recovery, GERD, candida yeast infections, and much more.
Catherine also teaches Intuition Nutrition seminars, which is a 3 part series that educates on the fundamentals of nutritional science, digestive health, and popular supplements. In addition, she organizes the 21 Day Renewal nutrition challenge, a group wellness challenge that offers an effective dietary reset to eat real food for 3 weeks.
In her spare time, Catherine enjoys coaching CrossFit, competing in the sport of Olympic Weightlifting, and running the lifestyle and fitness blog The Young ‘n’ Hungry (www.theyoungnhungry.com)
