    Questions

    Before you book

Will acupuncture interfere with my IVF medication or my clinic's protocol?

It's a fair question, and one we take seriously. Care in this program is supportive and non-pharmacological — no medications are prescribed here. Many patients choose acupuncture alongside IVF. We're glad to time sessions around your clinic's protocol, and we encourage you to mention any complementary care to your fertility team.

When in my cycle should I book?

At your initial visit, Sara builds your plan around your cycle — follicular, ovulation, and luteal timing for fertility care, and for embryo transfers, a session ideally within 24 to 48 hours before or after transfer day. If your transfer date moves, call us and we'll do our best to move with it.

Will I get a receipt my benefits plan accepts?

Yes — every treatment is receipted under the practitioner's registered discipline (for example, Registered Massage Therapy or Registered Acupuncture), which is what extended health plans reimburse. Coverage amounts and any referral requirements vary by plan, so check your plan details; your receipt will show the Billing Name listed on each treatment.
